This cable is required to upgrade/retrofit cruise control to a Porsche 996 or 986 Boxster.
It is the longer cable used on the non facelift models.

Cable provides connection between the steering column switch, the DME, and fuse connection (and instrument cluster when required - if not then this connector can be removed).
 
Note - Either an automotive connector, or soldering iron will be needed to splice into the fused supply.

This auction does NOT include the Cruise control stalk, you will need to source either a secondhand item or buy a new one. 
 
For the upgrade to work you will need to get the additional functionality enabled on your car (we can perform this for a modest charge if you are local - or via the postal service it you are able to send your modules).
